ONE17 NEWS - MAY 2017 - PEDAL FOR POUNDS 8
For the seventh consecutive year ONE17 were delighted to support Huddersfield Town’s Pedal for Pounds Charity Bike Ride in aid of the 'Keep It Up’ campaign - raising vital funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Huddersfield Town Academy.
This year’s ride, The Wagner Way, was 260 miles from Dortmund in Germany back to Huddersfield Town. Whilst partner Mark Lee and architect Stephen Beck enjoyed pedalling the route, ONE17 Team Tea had a very busy but enjoyable three days providing over 700 hot drinks, soups and snacks to the riders. Driving the ONE17 Team Tea support vehicle was a major achievement for our education co-ordinator Caroline Lee who had never driven abroad before! Thanks to everyone for their support in helping to keep the YAA flying.
